You do know how manual transmissions work, right? You press the clutch pedal, a light turns on, and the mouse in the transmission disengages the clutch until the light turns off.
Stronger high-performance cars use clutches too heavy for mice to use, so moles are used instead. However, the indicator light must be so much brighter for a mole to take notice. A heavier clutch pedal is need to create enough light.
